Green hydrogen — live

Initiatives

The programmes through which H2GHUB does its work, and what each one produces.

Our programmes

Studies

Technical and economic studies on green hydrogen production, storage, transport and export, and on the renewable electricity system that has to sit underneath them. Our corridor mapping is published openly.

Published studies and open datasets

Education and training

Three pathways built with universities and employers: a one-week fast track for professionals moving into hydrogen, a two-year master's, and a four-year bachelor's. Designed for the workforce that oil, gas and chemicals already have, and for the students who will replace it.

Fast track, master's and bachelor's pathways

Awareness

Public communication on carbon emissions, energy efficiency and the water–energy nexus: articles, talks and school and university sessions, in Arabic, French and English.

Articles, talks and public sessions

Corridor mapping

An open map of the world's green hydrogen trade — production hubs, import terminals and the pipelines and shipping lanes that connect them, with the status of each project stated plainly.

Interactive globe and corridor table

Water and energy nexus

Work on the constraint that decides most North African hydrogen projects: where the water comes from. Desalination, reuse, and the electricity that both of them consume.

Position papers and project screening

Skills transition

Helping engineers, technicians and geoscientists move from hydrocarbons into renewables, by mapping which competences transfer and which have to be taught.

Our studies are commissioned by public institutions, development partners and companies. Our training pathways are open to individuals and to employers who want to retrain a team.
